NSW Victims of Crime

Supporting you through the NSW Victims Support Scheme

If you have experienced a violent crime you don’t have to navigate the impact of it on your own.You may be entitled to 22 hours or more of counselling through the Victims of Crime Scheme if you have experienced domestic and family violence or sexual assault as a child or adult or other violent crimes.

I offer counselling that provides a safe, compassionate space to talk through how it is affecting you now.

My approach is relational and trauma-informed. I won’t tell you how you should be feeling or expect you to tell your story before you are ready. Together, we can make space for whatever is present — whether that is fear, anger, sadness, confusion, grief, numbness or simply feeling overwhelmed by everything that has changed.

I work with you at your pace, with an understanding that everyone responds to difficult experiences differently. Sometimes counselling is about making sense of what you have been through. Sometimes it is about finding ways to feel safer, more grounded and more connected to yourself and the people around you.

I also bring more than 20 years’ experience working in the domestic and family violence sector in various roles. This means I understand the complexities that can surround violence, relationships, safety and the process of finding your way through what comes afterwards.

You can access counselling with me through the NSW Victims Support Scheme via Telehealth.
